NEW YORK — President Donald Trump has been spotted at a New York high school reunions for students who have graduated from college and are in the process of applying to law school.

The Trump family has been present at reunions in recent years, and it’s not uncommon for the president to attend such events.

But this year’s event was the first to feature his daughter Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner and her brother-in-law, Jared Kushner.

A couple of Trump’s aides attended the reunion, as did a member of the president’s transition team, according to a senior White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the event was private.

The Trumps also have attended other high school alumni reunions, including former President George W. Bush, and former President Barack Obama, according the official, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition the person not be identified.

Former President George H.W. Bush attended reunions with his wife Laura in 1998, and he and his wife Michelle attended reunitions with their daughters, Sasha and Malia in 2001.
